Dr. Geoffrey Ganzman was raised in the Chicagoland area where his parents, both emigrants from the former Soviet Union, met. Following the footsteps of his aunt and grandfather, Dr. Ganzman pursued dentistry and was admitted to Marquette University’s Pre-Dental Scholars Program. Dr. Ganzman completed his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical Sciences with Honors. Dr. Ganzman continued his education at Marquette University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) with Honors. During dental school, Dr. Ganzman was awarded the American Academy of Periodontics Senior Dental Award and received a Commendation for Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Ganzman’s passion for esthetic dentistry and surgery led him to pursue three additional years of advanced surgical training in oral surgery, periodontology, dental implants and IV sedation. He completed both his Master of Science () and Certificate in Periodontology at Marquette University School of Dentistry. He served as Chief Resident during his final year and received numerous accolades for his research in the field of guided dental implant surgery.
Dr. Ganzman is an active member in the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Midwest Society of Periodontology. Committed to remaining on the forefront of evidence-based dentistry, Dr. Ganzman regularly attends relevant continued education courses and regularly investigates scientific literature in periodontology and implantology. He takes pride in treating his patients like family, offering his clinical expertise, and collaborating with them to create individualized treatment plans.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Ganzman can be found exploring everything the outdoors has to offer including hiking, cycling, and snowboarding. Dr. Ganzman also enjoys trying new food, spending time with family and friends, reading, and nerding-out about new technology.
