Good morning, WDA Trustees, Officers and Guests:
As you’ll recall, at the February meeting, the Board authorized a pilot of “WDA BizTalks,” a series of fun, short CE programs focused on business, management and practice transitions topics. We’ve had great response to this idea from potential program partners, and we’re excited to announce our first WDA BizTalks event, to be held in partnership with SVA Dental Services, on Thursday, May 7 at Good City Brewing in Milwaukee.
Attached please find a flyer for the May 7 event with details about the program and social component (beer tasting!) We are promoting this via email, social media and a postcard mailing to member and non-member dentists in Regions 3 and 4. We are also reaching out to appropriate component leadership, and SVA will spread the word among its clients and contacts. We’re hoping for a nice turnout.
You can help us in two ways:
1.) Please consider attending the program (especially if you’re in Region 3 or 4 – it’s not too far!) Your presence will say a lot about the support of WDA leadership and its commitment to providing this kind of education and information to members. You can register here.
2.) Please help us spread the word to dentists who may be interested in attending. Please share the attached flyer via email, and you can also share our Facebook event to your pages and dental-related groups.
The Membership Development Committee and staff appreciate your support and help in making this venture successful. As I said, we’ve already had strong interest from others – we are in the process of finalizing events with Huntington Bank in Madison and Neenah and with CLA in Wausau later this year. Stay tuned for more information, and we hope to see many of you at Good City Brewing on May 7!
