SUMMARY:Power of Three
DESCRIPTION:Please join the GMDA for an exciting upcoming event focused on the concept of the Power Of Three\, which is the collaboration and synergy between our local\, state\, and national dental associations. Three speakers will represent the different levels of the tripartite organization. Kamyar Nasseh\, PhD\, Health Economist at the ADA’s Health Policy Institute\, will present data about the state of dentistry from a national level and give us an idea of how Wisconsin compares. Dr. Dave Clemens\, our WDA president\, will speak about issues at the state level\, touching upon legislative issues like the status of EFDAs as well as the Transparency for Dentist Insurance Contracts Bill. He will provide an update on our Medicaid Pilot Program and touch upon the concerns of dentists from across our state. Dr. Angela Lueck\, our GMDA president\, will speak about issues at the component level. She will discuss the positive trends within our component highlighting the progress of the last two years and what we have to look forward to in upcoming years.\nThis will be a wonderful opportunity to receive relevant information regarding current happenings in organized dentistry. The Greater Milwaukee Dental Association is hosting this event in the hopes of providing members with a fun\, relaxed way to stay current\, connected\, and informed.
